SuperSpeed Engineering is a multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy. We help homeowners, property professionals and industrial operators understand existing buildings, plan changes and develop practical information for construction.
Our work begins with the question a client needs answered: Can a wall be removed safely? What is causing a crack? Will a floor support new equipment? What drawings are needed to take a project from planning into Building Regulations? We define the appropriate scope, assess the available information and develop clear advice, calculations, drawings or reports.
What We Do
Our core services include structural engineering, architectural design, structural condition surveys, specialist inspections and industrial engineering consultancy. We work on domestic alterations and extensions, new buildings, commercial property, industrial structures and the adaptation of existing facilities.
We provide architectural design directly and work jointly with Videre Architects and Surveyors where additional architectural or surveying input is needed. Videre delivers RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys and Party Wall services. Building services design is delivered with Greencrest Consultants, allowing mechanical, electrical and public-health requirements to be coordinated with the architecture and structure.
A Coordinated Project Team
A project often moves through survey, planning, structural design, building control and construction. We bring the relevant disciplines together early so that openings, load paths, foundations, service routes and equipment requirements are considered as the design develops. The appointment and responsibilities of each consultant are made clear for every project.
How We Work
We start by reviewing the brief, existing drawings, photographs and site information. Where a visit or further investigation is needed, we explain what it should establish. We then agree the deliverables and provide information suited to the stage of the project, whether that is a focused technical note or a coordinated design package.
Existing buildings rarely reveal every detail at the outset. We distinguish observed conditions from assumptions and identify where opening-up, testing or confirmation on site is needed before final decisions are made. This helps clients and contractors understand both the design and the information it relies on.

Our work can be a single specialist assessment or one part of a wider design team. Projects are considered throughout the UK, with site attendance and delivery arrangements agreed according to the brief.
